Carbon Fiber Rope, also known as Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Rope or String, is a specialized fiber product designed for use in connecting and anchoring Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) products in structural applications. Here the carbon fiber yarns are tightly bundled together to form a flexible and strong cord-like structure.
This material is designed to provide effective reinforcement and
enhance the structural performance of various elements, such as concrete structures, beams, columns, or walls and ensures the anticipated load-bearing requirements of the application.
Main Application:
Used as connecting elements between different sections of FRP Fabric & Plate ensuring continuity and uniform load transfer within the structural system.
Applied for anchoring FRP products in masonry structures, providing additional strength and stability.
Used in seismic retrofitting projects to improve the seismic performance of structures by increasing ductility and strength.
Used in conjunction with FRP products for strengthening existing structures, such as concrete beams, columns, and slabs.
Its also used as Near Surface Mounted (NSM) strengthening to enhance shear and torsional capacity in structures. Also to resist axial loads and enhance overall structural stability
