Carbon Fiber a PAN based fiber yarn which is used to make composite materials also known as CFRP. CFRP stands for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer are widely used for structural strengthening, reinforcement, retrofitting, rapir and in general construction.

Carbon fiber yarn:
The yarns are available at various type in bobbins starting from 1k, 3k, 6k, 12k, 24k, 35k and 48k. Here 1k means it has 1000 nano carbon fiber filament combined together to make it carbon fiber yarn/tow. So do say 12k has 12000 nano filament and make it a single tow called 12k.
It has different yarn performances such as Tensile strength of 4000-6000 Mpa, Modulus of Elasticity 160-250Gpa and so.
Carbon Fiber Fabric:
The fiber yarn are used to weave carbon fiber fabric in various weight, width and legnth. The available weight are 100-1200gms, width 10-150cm and 50-100m length.
The fabric performances depends on what strength fiber yarn are being used to achive the performances requirement for the same.
How the fabric are used for Strucutral Reinforcement:
It has application manuel and its a step by step procedures how its used for structural reinforcement. The fabric are required to impregnated with resin system (Anjie offer epoxy resin) and its has detail procedures of preparing the concrete surfaces, applying resin, appying fabric and ensuring the right application.

How it works:
Once the fabric is applied on structures and cured at a certain time, the fabric become very hard and grab the structures. As carbon fiber is high strengths material and its has high structural compatibility, it helps regain the structural performances and protect the structures from defects or erathquakes.
